AJILE 2026 installer

NEW IN THIS BUILD (12 October 2026)

  * AJILE PI 2026 (new, licensed separately). The AJILE toolbar now has two
tabs: AJILE TOOLS (unchanged) and AJILE PI. AJILE PI makes photo ID
cards, certificates and calendars from an Excel list (A = SNO, B = NAME)
and a photo folder (1.jpg, 2.jpg ...), lays them out on print sheets with
crop marks, and exports one JPG per person named by SNO.
Buttons: GENERATE, SIZES (type H x W in mm), EXPORT JPG, TEMPLATE.

  * Licences now carry products. Your key opens AJILE 2026, AJILE PI 2026
or both. Ask support to add AJILE PI 2026 to your key.

EARLIER BUILD (08 October 2026)

  * Ctrl+D (duplicate) works again after you use AJILE. Clicking the AJILE
toolbar or dashboard used to keep the keyboard on AJILE, so Ctrl+D,
Ctrl+Z, Ctrl+G and other shortcuts did nothing until you clicked the
page. AJILE now hands those keys straight back to CorelDRAW.

  * Emoji in names. Type HAR{dollar}H (or {fire}, {heart}, {crown}...) in the
name list; only the emoji letter switches to the new AJILE Emoji font,
the other letters keep your template font. The EMOJI CODES button lists
every code. The installer now installs the AJILE Emoji font (Windows asks
for administrator approval once). Restart CorelDRAW after installing.

  * NAMEP and NUMBERP size presets: SMALL / MEDIUM / LARGE buttons in the
size chart. NUMBERP sets single and multi digit numbers together.

  * ICON: an object named ICON at the top-left of the first letter of the
name now follows that letter for every name and every size.

  * No internet: AJILE no longer makes CorelDRAW close when the internet
drops. It shows 'No internet connection' instead, and it no longer asks
for the licence again once the internet is back.

  * 30-day offline key (AJX-...): for a PC with no internet. Locked to one
PC, usable once, refused after its expiry date. Ask Upsky Media for one
with the PC ID shown in the 'No internet' message.

  * SHORTS F / SLEEVES F copies no longer pile on top of the front copies.

EARLIER BUILDS

NEW IN AN EARLIER BUILD - AJILE NO LONGER STARTS BY ITSELF

UPDATE - three things you reported after the first version:

    * AJILE opened by itself as soon as you opened the Macro Manager.
Fixed inside the macro. Opening the Macro Manager starts CorelDRAW's
macro engine, which loads AJILE, and AJILE used to put its toolbar up
the moment it loaded. It now waits to be asked. Nothing opens the
toolbar except the START AJILE button.

    * The START AJILE window would not open. Fixed. It used to refuse to
open a second time if a copy was already running - even a minimised
one, or one that had got stuck - so pressing the shortcut did nothing
at all. Pressing it now always brings the window back.

    * It has a MINIMIZE button now, and it starts with Windows: the button
appears on its own whenever you open CorelDRAW, and tucks itself away
when you close CorelDRAW. To be clear, that is the BUTTON appearing -
it never opens AJILE for you.

You asked for this: AJILE used to force itself open, and that is what
broke CorelDRAW's keyboard shortcuts, stopped drawing tabs from closing,
and made CorelDRAW look like it was closing on its own.

Four separate things were opening AJILE without being asked. All four
  are now gone:
    - a helper that started with Windows at every login and poked
      CorelDRAW every few seconds,
    - a CorelDRAW setting that ran AJILE at every CorelDRAW launch,
    - a CorelDRAW setting that ran AJILE every time you created or opened
a file - this is the 'it keeps coming back on a new file' one,
    - a setting that loaded the macro engine together with CorelDRAW, so
the macro was live before you had asked for anything.

In their place there is one button: START AJILE.

A shortcut called START AJILE is put on your Desktop and in the Start
menu. It opens a small window that floats on top of CorelDRAW with one
big START AJILE button. Open CorelDRAW, press it, and the AJILE toolbar
appears. There is also a Close AJILE toolbar button on the same window.

Until you press that button, CorelDRAW behaves exactly like a PC with no
macro installed - the macro is not even loaded.

ALREADY INSTALLED? You do not need to reinstall. Close CorelDRAW and run
AJILE-NoAutoStart.bat from the AJILE-Files folder. It removes all four
auto-starts and puts the START AJILE shortcut on your Desktop.

(AJILE-FixToolbar.bat, the old 'make the toolbar open by itself' tool, now
forwards to that same tool - it would otherwise put the problem back.)

PREVIOUSLY - FIXES CorelDRAW X6 not showing AJILE at all

If AJILE never appeared in CorelDRAW X6 - Macro Manager showing only
GlobalMacros, CalendarWizard and FileConverter - this build fixes it.

Cause: CorelDRAW X6 does NOT read macros from your personal Windows
user folder. Only X7 and newer do. AJILE was being installed there,
correctly and completely, and X6 simply never looked in that folder.
X6 loads macros only from inside CorelDRAW's own program folder -
which is exactly where its own CalendarWizard and FileConverter sit.

Fix: the installer now puts the macros in BOTH places, so X6 finds
them where it looks and X7-2026 keep working as before. Writing into
the program folder needs one Windows administrator YES.

Already installed and still not showing? Close CorelDRAW completely,
then run Fix-CorelDRAW-X6.bat from the AJILE-Files folder. It repairs
an existing install in place - you do not need to reinstall - and it
prints a list of exactly which folders it wrote to. Send us that list
  if anything is still missing.

ALSO IN THIS BUILD - CorelDRAW X6 support, verified end to end

AJILE has always been sold as X6 to 2026, but the installer had three
faults that hit X6 machines specifically. All three are fixed.

    1. A freshly installed CorelDRAW that had NEVER been opened was not
found at all - the installer stopped and said it could not
find CorelDRAW. CorelDRAW does not create its user folder
until the first time it RUNS, and X6 gets re-installed far more
often than the newer versions, so this hit X6 users hardest.
The installer now finds CorelDRAW from the program itself and
creates the macro folder on its own. You no longer have to open
       CorelDRAW once before installing.

    2. The toolbar could fail to appear, with no error, because of a
stale Windows cache file left behind by some other program that
uses macros. X6 PCs are usually older Windows installs carrying
years of these. The installer now clears that cache first.

    3. On Windows 7 - which is what most X6 PCs run - the licence check
could fail with a security-connection error even on a good key
and a working internet connection, because Windows 7 does not
switch on modern secure connections by default. The installer
already fixed this for one part of Windows; it now fixes the
second part too, so the key verifies on Windows 7.

Checked and confirmed working on X6: the macros themselves carry NO
CorelDRAW-version lock, so X6 loads them with its own libraries; X6
ships the same VBA 7.1 that AJILE is built against; and every
CorelDRAW command AJILE uses exists in X6. 32-bit and 64-bit X6 are
  both handled.

PREVIOUS BUILD - Quick Export stopped with a blank Error box

Symptom: part way through an export you got a box that said only

      Error:
      Shape: OUT_38_ALL_FR_48

with no message in it, and the whole export stopped. Whatever had already
been written was fine, but the rest of the roster was not, and you had to
  start the export over.

Real cause, measured - two separate problems:

    1. The message was ALWAYS empty. Before showing the box, AJILE hid the
progress bar, and hiding it wiped the error text - so that box could
never show what had gone wrong, for any error, in any version. The
shape it named was sometimes the one BEFORE the one that really
failed, which pointed us at the wrong shape.

    2. One shape that would not export ended the whole run. A locked layer
was enough on its own: CorelDRAW refuses to select a shape whose
layer is locked, and the old code treated that as fatal.

  What is different now:

    - A shape on a locked or hidden layer exports normally. AJILE unlocks
the layer for the moment it needs it, and switches to the right page
      first.
    - A shape that still will not export is tried a second time, then
SKIPPED - the rest of the roster keeps exporting and the run finishes.
    - At the end you are told exactly which shapes were skipped and why, in
plain English. The same list is written to AJILE_EXPORT_LOG.txt in the
folder you exported to. Send us that file if anything is skipped.
    - Shapes with no size, and shapes too large for CorelDRAW to export, are
now named and explained instead of stopping everything.
    - When an export does stop, the box now shows the real CorelDRAW message
and error number, and names the shape that actually failed.

Nothing else changed: file names, folder structure, DPI, RGB / CMYK and
the JPG settings all behave exactly as before. This covers every export
button in both Quick Export and Advanced Export.

ALSO IN THIS RELEASE - licence key kept being asked for, every single time

The key you typed was never actually saved. AJILE stored it only in
C:\ProgramData\JerseyMacro, a folder the installer creates with
administrator rights - so on a normal Windows account writing the key
back there is refused. The old code never checked whether the write
worked, so the key was thrown away in silence and you were asked again
on the very next click, forever, and the AJILE 2026 dashboard never
  opened.

Now AJILE writes the key, READS IT BACK to prove it is really saved, and
falls back to your own user folder if the shared one is not writable. If
neither can be written it says so plainly instead of silently asking
  again.

The licence key box and its messages also used to be able to open behind
CorelDRAW where you could not see them - which looked like clicking
AJILE 2026 did nothing at all. They are now always brought to the front.

ALSO FIXED - CorelDRAW would not close

A second, separate cause was found: while the AJILE toolbar was on
screen it held CorelDRAW open. Measured - clicking the X did nothing at
all until the toolbar was closed, after which CorelDRAW shut down within
two seconds. AJILE now puts the toolbar away as soon as you confirm you
  want to quit.

PREVIOUSLY - the Save changes? question is back

IMPORTANT - why it was missing in the first place:
The AJILE toolbar is a floating VBA window. CorelDRAW builds its Save
question as a dialog owned by whichever window is active, and on older
releases (X6/X7/X8) having that floating window active stops the question
from ever appearing - CorelDRAW takes its default answer, Yes, and goes
straight to Save-to-folder. That is why removing AJILE made the question
come back. AJILE now takes the toolbar off screen for the moment the
question is shown and puts it back afterwards, so the question always
  appears - on every version.

There is also a new tool, AJILE-Diagnose-Close.bat, which writes a report
to your Desktop explaining exactly what is happening on that PC.

AND: on some machines - CorelDRAW X8 was the one measured - CorelDRAW
never starts its macro engine at all, so nothing AJILE installs can run:
no toolbar and no Save question. AJILE now starts the macro engine itself
when it finds it asleep, using only safe internal calls (it presses no
keys and moves no windows). AJILE-WakeVBA.bat does the same on demand.

On some PCs CorelDRAW had stopped asking whether to save. Clicking the
X on a drawing tab did nothing, and closing CorelDRAW went straight to
the Save-to-folder window with no way to say 'do not save'.

AJILE now asks the question itself, so it works even on a PC where
CorelDRAW's own prompt has been switched off:

Closing a drawing with NO changes -> closes straight away, no question.
Closing a drawing WITH changes -> Save changes to <name>?
Yes -> saves. A drawing that was never saved opens the
Save Drawing window so you can pick the folder.
Backing out of that window keeps the drawing open.
No -> closes and throws the changes away.
Cancel -> nothing closes, you stay on the same page.
Closing CorelDRAW itself -> asks once for every changed
drawing, showing you each one first. Cancel on any of them stops
        the whole shutdown.

You are never asked twice, and if anything ever goes wrong the drawing
is still allowed to close - it can never lock you inside CorelDRAW.

THE BIG FIX IN THIS BUILD - 'I cannot close my drawing or close CorelDRAW'

  Symptoms customers reported:
    - clicking the X on the document tab did nothing at all,
    - CorelDRAW would not close,
    - closing CorelDRAW skipped the usual 'Save changes? Yes / No / Cancel'
question and jumped straight to the Save-to-folder window,
    - the VBA / macro editor window opened on its own.

Real cause, measured on a live CorelDRAW:
To make the AJILE toolbar appear, the old helper pushed CorelDRAW's
main window to the front and typed Alt+F11 into it. While CorelDRAW is
showing a question ('Save changes?'), its main window is DISABLED - it
cannot accept a single click or keystroke. Forcing it to the front
therefore put a dead window in front of you and buried the question
behind it. That is why the X did nothing, why the keyboard did nothing,
and why the macro editor appeared. When you finally reached the buried
question, the Enter you had already pressed hit its default button -
Yes - which is exactly why an unsaved drawing jumped straight to the
Save-to-folder window with no Yes / No / Cancel ever shown.

Why earlier fixes did not work:
This is standard Windows behaviour, not a CorelDRAW bug, so no version
is immune. The previous two attempts tried to detect the question
first and then type - but you can click the X in the split second
between the check and the keystroke, so the problem kept coming back.

  The fix:
The helper no longer sends keystrokes and no longer moves any window to
the front. Those abilities have been removed from it completely, not
just switched off, so this cannot happen again on any PC or any
    CorelDRAW version - X6, X7, X8, 2017-2026 alike.

(Superseded by this build: the macro engine is no longer started with
CorelDRAW at all. Nothing wakes it until you press START AJILE.)

Also: the installer now REFUSES to run while CorelDRAW is open, and tells
you to close it first. CorelDRAW writes its own copy of the macros back
over ours when it shuts down, so installing with CorelDRAW open quietly
installed nothing at all. Close CorelDRAW, then install.

Earlier in this release:
  - Text sizes. The roster can be typed as S / M / L / XL / 2XL (XXL works
too, same size). QTY prints as L_12, shape names become OUT_L_ALL_BK_1,
and exports are named L_12.JPG / L_12_1.JPG. Numeric rosters are
    completely unchanged.
  - A single-digit NUMBERP chart. The NAMEP/NUMBERP size form has MULTI and
SINGLE tabs, so a lone number can have its own width and height instead
of being stretched across the multi-digit box.
  - SIZE BOX on every chart (jersey, logo, shorts, sleeves and NAMEP/NUMBERP).
Paste sizes in bulk, one per line, as SIZE W H - for example 18 21 34,
    or 40-23-32, or 2XL,25,38. Copy straight out of Excel or a CSV and paste;
APPLY fills the chart and saves in one click, and any size you did not
list is left exactly as it was.
  - Fixes size 28 in the NAMEP chart, whose width box was misnamed and so
    never saved or loaded.
