Names and numbers on cricket kits
Most coloured kits carry the player's name and number on the back: names about 5 to 7 cm tall and numbers about 15 to 22 cm. Some teams add the number to the front or the trousers. Check fit for long names on S and kids sizes with the name width calculator.
Fit tips
- Fast bowlers often prefer one size up for shoulder room.
- Wicketkeepers sometimes want a longer length so the shirt stays tucked.

Do cricket jerseys fit bigger than football jerseys?
Often slightly. Cricket shirts are cut with more room in the shoulders and sleeves for bowling and batting, so many teams pick their usual size or one up.
What waist size goes with a cricket trouser M?
Typical Indian charts put M at about a 30 to 32 inch waist, L at 32 to 34 and XL at 34 to 36.
Full sleeve or half sleeve?
Coloured kits are mostly half sleeve. Full sleeve is common for sun protection and in colder months.
